4. Skills: Automatic Quality Standards

Explain how OupiBox skills apply consistent formatting and structure to documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks without manual intervention.

OupiBox skills are ready-made procedures that the AI applies automatically inside the sandbox whenever it builds a document. They encode OUPI's house standards for formatting and structure — covering Word documents, styled spreadsheets, slide decks, and data reports. Because these standards are baked into the skill definitions rather than typed by you each time, every output follows the same professional conventions regardless of which AI model is running or who made the request.

Skills work behind the scenes: you don't need to select or activate them. When you ask OupiBox to "build a formatted Word report" or "create a slide deck from these notes," the AI detects what kind of document is needed and picks the relevant skill on its own. The skill then dictates heading hierarchy, font choices, table styling, slide layouts, chart formatting, and other structural rules — so the result is consistent without any manual formatting on your part.

Skills are maintained by your organization's administrators, not by individual users. This means quality standards are centralized: when an admin updates a skill (e.g., changing the corporate color palette or adjusting margin rules), every future document produced by OupiBox reflects the change automatically. You benefit from up-to-date branding and formatting without needing to know the details yourself.

Because OupiBox performs real execution — actually running code, rendering layouts, and producing genuine .docx, .xlsx, or .pptx files — skills go far beyond simple templates. They can enforce conditional formatting in spreadsheets, apply consistent chart styles, set print areas, structure slide transitions, and ensure accessibility standards. The output is a real file materialized back into your file space, not a description of what a file could look like.

Consejo

You don't need to spell out formatting instructions. Instead of saying "use Heading 1 for titles, 12pt body text, blue accent color," just ask for the document. Skills handle the styling automatically. Focus your prompt on the content and structure you want — the quality standards take care of the rest.

Consejo

Want to see skills in action across file types? Try asking OupiBox to produce the same data as a Word summary, an Excel table, and a PowerPoint slide in one conversation. You'll notice each output follows its own format-specific standards — all without you specifying any styling rules.

Ahora tú

Open a chat with OupiBox enabled and ask: "Build a professional Word report summarizing [any topic you choose], with at least two sections and a table." Review the output file — notice the consistent headings, table styling, and layout. You didn't specify any of that: a skill did.

Para recordar

OupiBox skills are administrator-maintained procedures that automatically enforce consistent formatting and structure across Word documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The AI selects the right skill for each task without user intervention, so every output meets your organization's quality standards. You focus on what to say; skills handle how it looks. The result is a real, downloadable file — materialized back to your file space — not just a description.
