1. What Is OupiBox?

OupiBox is an isolated, disposable environment that sits behind your AI conversation or mission. Instead of the AI merely describing what it would do, OupiBox lets it actually execute code and use real tools: reading and transforming your files, running calculations, converting formats, building Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint decks, generating charts, and extracting or zipping archives. Nothing runs on your computer, and nothing is shared between users. Think of it as a temporary workshop the AI opens, uses to get real work done, and then discards once the results are safely delivered back to you.

You don't need to manually activate OupiBox most of the time. The AI recognises when a task requires execution rather than prose — for example, "clean this spreadsheet and chart it", "convert these PDFs to text", or "build a formatted report". When that happens, the chat or mission switches to OupiBox automatically. If you want to force it on for a conversation, you can toggle it explicitly from the chat toolbar. Either way, you'll see live progress as the sandbox works, and the AI will retry on its own if it hits an error.

Files flow in and out seamlessly. Anything you attach to the conversation or select from your file space is uploaded into the sandbox for the task. Everything the AI produces — documents, charts, archives — is brought back into your file space and displayed as cards in the conversation, marked "Materialized by OupiBox". Once the task is done, the sandbox itself is discarded. Your file space, not the sandbox, is the permanent source of truth. This means you never lose outputs, and no leftover data lingers in a temporary environment.

OupiBox also applies Skills — ready-made procedures maintained by administrators that encode OUPI's standards for formatting and structure. When the AI builds a Word document, a styled spreadsheet, or a slide deck inside the sandbox, it automatically picks the relevant skill so the result is professional and consistent, regardless of which AI model is running. You don't need to specify formatting rules yourself; the skill handles it.

OupiBox has clear boundaries. It cannot access your local machine, other users' data, or the open internet beyond what the platform permits. It isn't designed for long-running services — for persistent, local execution, OUPI offers Nexus One. Very large files are processed in parts, and sandbox sessions expire after inactivity. Cost-wise, you pay credits for compute time on top of the model's token cost; a quick data cleanup is inexpensive, while rendering a long illustrated report costs more. Sandboxes are controlled by OUPI with no provider keys inside, keeping your data sovereign.
