1. Setting Up Your Profile & Language
Learn where to edit your name, email, avatar, billing details and interface language so OUPI feels like yours from day one.
Your OUPI profile lives in **Settings**, and it's the first place to visit after signing in. Here you can update your **name**, **email address**, **avatar**, and **billing details** — everything that identifies you on the platform.
One thing to know: if you change your email, OUPI will ask you to confirm the new address before the switch takes effect. This keeps your account secure and ensures important notifications always reach the right inbox.
Think of your profile as your digital business card inside OUPI — accurate details here mean smoother collaboration with teammates and correct invoicing from day one.
OUPI lets you choose the **interface language** separately from the language the AI uses to reply.
• **Interface language** — Pick it in Settings; the change applies immediately to every menu, button, and label you see.
• **AI response language** — The AI automatically answers in the language you write in. So if you set the interface to French but type a question in English, the AI will reply in English.
This two-layer approach is handy for multilingual teams: everyone can navigate OUPI in their preferred language while chatting with the AI in whatever language suits the task at hand.
TipChanged your email and not seeing the confirmation message? Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you typed the exact new address. Until you confirm, your old email stays active on the account.
TipIf you signed up via Google, Microsoft, or GitHub, you can still set a direct password in Settings. This gives you a backup way to log in if your SSO provider ever has an outage.
Try it nowOpen **Settings** now (the page you land on is your profile). Try these quick steps:
1. Check that your name and email are correct.
2. Upload or change your avatar.
3. Use the language selector to switch the interface language — notice how every label updates instantly.
4. Switch it back if you prefer your original language.Take this course in OUPI → This exercise is done inside the OUPI platform.
RecapYour OUPI profile is your home base. From **Settings** you can:
• Edit your **name, email, avatar, and billing details** (email changes need confirmation).
• Set the **interface language** — it applies instantly, while the AI replies in whatever language you write in.
• Optionally **set a password** even if you use Google, Microsoft, or GitHub sign-in.
Keeping this information accurate ensures smooth collaboration, correct billing, and a comfortable experience every time you open OUPI.
