1. Navigating the Finance Dashboard
Familiarize yourself with the OUPI Finance interface, its sub-menus, and the guided tour so you can move efficiently between features.
OUPI Finance is your personal finance management hub, powered by AI. From the sidebar, click Finance to land on the main Dashboard. From there, you can navigate between six sub-menus:
• Dashboard – Your financial overview at a glance. • Transactions – Add, import, and manage income, expenses, and transfers. AI auto-categorizes entries for you. • Markets – Access real-time quotes, historical charts, and AI-driven market analysis. Basic market data is free. • Advisor – Ask personalized financial questions and get AI-powered advice (~2 credits per question). • Anomalies – Detect unusual spending patterns with natural-language explanations (compares against at least 3 months of data). • Spending DNA – Discover a unique, AI-analyzed profile of your spending habits.
Each sub-menu is accessible directly from the Finance section in the sidebar, so switching between features is just one click away.
Before diving into individual features, it helps to understand the credit costs and data requirements so you can plan your usage:
• Smart Financial Advisor: ~2 credits per question. Your transaction history is taken into account, so the more data you have, the better the advice. • Financial Health Score: 1 credit per calculation. It analyzes four dimensions — income vs. expenses, diversification, savings regularity, and debt-to-income ratio — but requires at least 10 transactions to generate a score. • Anomaly Narrator: 1 credit per analysis. It needs a minimum of 3 months of transaction history to compare against. • Market Data: Basic quotes and charts are free. AI-enhanced market analysis may consume credits.
Knowing these thresholds upfront helps you get value from each feature without surprises.
When searching for market data, always use standard ticker symbols — for example, AAPL for Apple, MSFT for Microsoft, or BTC-USD for Bitcoin. This ensures accurate results and faster lookups in the Markets sub-menu.
When using the Smart Financial Advisor, be as specific as possible with your questions. Instead of asking "How am I doing?", try "How can I reduce my dining expenses this month?" — your transaction history is factored in, so precise questions yield more actionable advice.
