1. Welcome to Creative Suite
Understand what Creative Suite offers and how the gallery, editor, notebooks and brand kit fit together.
Creative Suite is OUPI's visual production tool. It brings together everything you need to design graphics, presentations, posters and social media visuals — all in one place. At its core you'll find four connected areas:
• Gallery – Your home base. It lists every design you've created, organized into folders. From here you can create something new, duplicate an existing piece, mark favorites, rename or move files, and share with teammates.
• Editor – A drag-and-drop canvas where the actual designing happens. Add text, images, shapes, and AI-generated elements. You can start from a blank canvas, pick a template, or let the AI generate a full layout from a simple description.
• Brand Kit – Your logos, brand colors and fonts stored in one place. They're applied by default to new designs and AI generations so every piece stays on brand.
• Notebooks – Workspaces where you gather sources (documents, links, notes), let the AI analyze them, and then produce ready-to-publish content like summaries, post series, slide decks or briefings.
There are three ways to start a new design:
- Blank canvas – Choose a format and build from scratch in the editor.
- Template – Pick a pre-made layout and customize it with your own content and brand kit.
- AI-generated layout – Describe what you need (e.g., "a LinkedIn carousel announcing our new offer, three slides") and the AI proposes a complete design you can then refine.
You can even drop a screenshot or photo of an existing design and ask the AI to turn it into an editable version. Once inside the editor, you can also generate images directly on the canvas by describing what you want and choosing a style.
When asking the AI to generate a layout, describe the purpose of the piece, not just its appearance. For example, say "a poster promoting our summer sale targeting young professionals" rather than just "a colorful poster." The AI produces better results when it understands context.
Notebooks deserve special attention because they bridge research and creation. Here's the workflow:
- Gather sources – Add documents, web links or notes to a notebook.
- Analyze – The AI reads and understands your sources.
- Produce – Ask for a summary, a social-media post series, a slide deck, a briefing, or other content. Every output stays tied to its sources.
- Re-analyze – When your sources change, re-run the analysis and regenerate content to keep everything up to date.
This means you can go from raw research to polished, publishable material without leaving Creative Suite.
Your designs don't live in isolation. They are treated as files inside OUPI, which means:
• They appear in your file space and can be referenced in the chat or used in a mission. • You can ask @oupi in a mission to produce a poster, a deck or a set of social visuals; the results are delivered as Creative Suite files you can open and refine. • Sharing a design generates a link; team members can open it from the shared folder. • Export options include PNG, JPG and PDF. Large exports run in the background — you'll be notified when they're ready.
Editing is always free. AI-powered actions (layout generation, image generation, notebook productions) consume credits, and the cost is shown before each generation so there are no surprises.
Open Creative Suite now by navigating to the gallery. Take a moment to explore the interface: notice the options to create a new design (blank, template, or AI-generated), browse any existing folders, and locate the Notebooks section. Try creating a blank design just to see the editor canvas open.
Creative Suite combines four connected areas: the Gallery (organize and find designs), the Editor (drag-and-drop canvas), the Brand Kit (logos, colors, fonts applied by default), and Notebooks (turn sources into ready content). You can start designs from blank, from templates, or from an AI prompt — even from a screenshot. Designs are reusable files across OUPI, exportable as PNG/JPG/PDF, and shareable with your team. Editing is free; AI generations cost credits shown upfront.
