Managing Your Team on OUPI: Members, Credits, Branding & More · Lesson 1 of 7

1. Inviting Members and Managing Seats

Learn how to invite team members by email, understand how seats are allocated by your plan, and free seats by removing members when needed.

Every person on your OUPI team occupies a seat. The number of seats available is determined by your current plan — once all seats are filled, no more invitations can be sent until you either remove a member or upgrade to a plan with more seats. Think of seats as reserved chairs at a table: each accepted invitation fills one, and each removal opens one back up.

To invite a new team member, go to Team Management and enter their email address. OUPI sends them an invitation; once they accept, they join your team and immediately occupy a seat. From that moment they can access team-shared resources — knowledge bases, your company Brand Voice, and any skills you've published — and they can start receiving a monthly credit allowance from the team plan.

When a member joins, you can grant them a monthly credit allowance drawn from your team plan. Credits are the currency of all AI usage on OUPI — chat messages, generations, agent missions, and more. Each member's consumption is tracked individually and visible to you as the team owner, so you can monitor who uses what and adjust allowances accordingly.

Tip

Keep an eye on your team's usage overview regularly. If one member consistently under-uses their allowance while another runs out, redistribute credits to match real needs — no plan upgrade required.

Need to free a seat? Open Team Management and remove the member. Their seat is released instantly, and they lose access to all team-shared resources (knowledge bases, Brand Voice, published skills). However, their personal OUPI account and any content they created on their own remain untouched — removal only severs the team link.

Tip

If you're at your seat limit and need to onboard someone urgently, remember: removing a member frees the seat right away. If you'd rather keep everyone, head to the Subscription page to upgrade — upgrades apply immediately.

Try it now

Go to Team Management now. Review your current member list and note how many seats are occupied. Try sending a test invitation to a colleague's email address. Once they accept, confirm they appear in the list and that a seat has been consumed.

Recap

Your plan defines how many seats your team has. Invite members by email from Team Management — each accepted invite fills a seat. Members receive monthly credit allowances from the team plan, and you can track everyone's usage. Removing a member instantly frees their seat and revokes access to shared resources, while their personal content stays safe. If you need more seats, upgrade your plan.
